Weddings are Veronica's original inspiration behind Blue Ivy. There's something very special about planning the most romantic day of our personal history. There's something so honorable and so important about being given the key to design, direct and lead a couple to their official celebration-backdrop. There's a reward so internal within Veronica that her purpose is to create the most happiest day of couple's lives while knowing to protect couples from industry-sharks, social pressures, and big mistakes.
As an Ivy league grad, Veronica's resourcefulness, and expert negotiating talent is one of the many advantages you gain. She oversees all planning projects at Blue Ivy, leaving no planning protocol at risk, protecting the quality experience expected, handling all strategic planning that a wedding requires, providing boundless award winning creativity to tailor every clientʼs vision, and working hand in hand every day with her golden chosen award winning team. WEDDING TRENDS of 2021
Well HELLO Lovers in Love!
SO - we're officially in 2021 and I love to forecast what trends will be extra special in the world of weddings for the upcoming season. I take inspiration from the runway, home décor trends and, of course, what my current clients are asking for. With that in mind, here’s what I think will be a few of the biggest wedding trends of 2021:
-
Sustainability! Couples are seeing more and more the impact they can have with how they host their event. From digital platforms streaming, local food, less invitees, digital invitations, local flowers, smaller ceremonies and less favors that get thrown away, it's no question our human footprint behavior will be aiming toward hosting with a more conscientious approach.
-
Fashion Shifting! Many brides are now looking at wearing dresses that change their look by the time the evening takes place. Shifting into something more casual, or even something enhancing, for example a long sheer overcoat to loosely fit over the dress, it appears that fashion is focusing on layers, dress changes and unpredictable modifications to the wardrobe.
-
DIY Beauty – Between Covid being a real struggle and the amount of tutorials online, many brides are opting to do their own hair and makeup. Dont be surprised if you learn how to look like a pro made you up!
-
Micro Weddings – Of course, with Covid in the air, weddings are becoming more intimate, less exaggerated and more to the point: getting married with the nuclear and closest few who are just the MUSTS of the MUSTS to have around. This concept is saving money, keeping health in check, allowing for different backdrops to be the landscape (i.e. destination or beach for the bride who originally was originally going to imagine dazzling her ceremony had it been just a few years ago), mini individual cakes to be served, pod assigned seating -- times are changing, and with all the uncertainty, these intimate weddings with more quality control are helping many couples move forward with their final wedding date of choice.
Cant wait to see the end result!
xox,
Veronica
